This page is mainly devoted to the CJ variation of the Jeep. My first Jeep was purchased approximately 4 1/2 years ago and is still incomplete as most CJ's are, but it has come along way in my opinion from when it was purchased for £1500.00.
If I had known at this time the amount of time and money it would take to get it in a near completed state I would of taken a different road to my build up. An option I now believe I should of taken would of been to have purchased someone else's labour of love i.e. they would have spent a lot of time from the ground up restoration leaving me the finer and personal touches at a lesser cost. This is only because I am not a great mechanic and the point of owning a Jeep was not necessarily to take pleasure from the build up, even though I have had some fun doing so.
"Eugene the Jeep" named as the original due to the registration given at the end of military service, served with the USAF in England and taking up civilian residence with a dealer of ex American military vehicles in 1994, in a country village called Lindsell in Dunmow near Harlow. Reg # UJN 111V
